Lower Back Pain
There are numerous causes of lower back pain. Most often these are benign and mechanical in origin. Lower back pain that are described as a localised ache and only last for few days are generally due to muscle strain. For pain that are more intense, persistent or associated with other symptoms like numbness, tingling or referral pain may be caused by mild to moderate disc injury; facet syndrome, piriformis syndrome or sacroiliac joint dysfunction. These conditions can be treated effectively with Chiropractic with good results.
Chiropractic treatment involves spinal manipulation to restore normal spinal alignment, muscle tone and nerve function, therefore promoting healing and recovery. In the course of treatment, severe aches and pain will reduce and gradual return of normal activities can be achieved.
